Sign Board
Clifford Flats is a dry, barren, desert settlement with a few old buildings and a couple of houses. This scene is typical of what you would see in the Oklahoma panhandle back in the 1930's.

All four of these mini-dioramas were built by master modeler Bill Clifford.
Description & History
This module's frame was built over 25 years ago. It is our #2 gap filler and was originally a flat barren desert, just dirt and some scrub brush. A while back master modeler Bill Clifford passed on and his widow donated many of his intricately detailed diorama scenes to the NEONS. Four of those scenes were ideal for this module and were installed in 2011, making this module representative of life in the Oklahoma panhandle during the dust bowl era.
